Trip Summary:
Selous  Safari is a short tour from Dar es Salaam, which takes you 3 and half hours to visit one of the spectacular’s southern circuit Game Reserve of Tanzania. This is not any other than Selous. The park hosts’ small and large mammals including variety of birds species and reptiles, accommodation can be at the standard or luxury lodges, luxury Tented camp or budget camping sites.  Accommodation can be in lodge, tented camp or basic camping booked on full board arrangements.

 Day :1: Dar –Nyerere National Park.
Morning after breakfast, drive to Selous Game Reserve with packed lunch that you will have it on the way, arrive in the Reserve in the afternoon,in the afternoon embark on boat safari on Rufiji River, where you will admire Hippos and Crocodiles in their natural habitat. Dinner and overnight will be at Ngallawa Budget Lodge.

 

Day 2:Full day Game drives
Morning after breakfast, full day game drives in Selous game Reserve with picnic lunch. Mind you that Selous G.R is larger than Switzerland and  Denmark, that reserves largest population of elephant in Tanzania as well as large number of buffalo, Hippo and Wild dog, others are Lion, Eland, bushbuck, giraffe, impala, baboon, zebra, Crocodile, greater kudu and is the chance to see the rare Sable antelope. Meals and overnight will be at Ngalawa Budget Lodge

 Day3: Nyerere National Park-- Walking safaris –Dar.
Leave early morning to the park walking trip in the wilderness accompanied with an armed ranger guide who will guide you on walking to get close to the animals, plants, finger prints, and animals drops for fine pictures. Then drive back to your lodge at 09:00 hrs. for breakfast then after that park your things and leave to Dar es Salaam. Drop you at your place of  staying. Or at the airport.
